Imagine being able to ride your bike all year round in Spring time
conditions! This encourages many European athletes to spend their
holidays in the Canary Islands, with beautiful beaches and volcanic
mountains. The temperatures in Tenerife range from 15 – 28 degrees
Celsius with around 30 days of rain per year, basically excellent
conditions to make the Island an international sport destination.
BikeParkTenerife have 133.000 sq metres of land where you can enjoy
truly exotic surroundings. Compared to many others, we are not a ski
resort that uses its installations during the summer as a bikepark, our
installations are made exclusively for biking all year round.
BikeParkTenerife have various DH lines, North Shore, fourcross, dirt
jumps and a foam pit. For the middle of the year 2011 we are planning to
develop our incredible dirt and slopestyle area.
Many professional riders come to BikeParkTenerife for training,
especially in the winter seasons where most of Europe is snowed under
and all the bikeparks are closed or are very far away.
BikeParkTenerife is not just for the professionals it offers something
for everyone, with a wide range of lines that brings together
all levels of riders.
The hole island offers you many dh lines. Few of them starting at
2000m high with a dh of 1h30 non stop.
Timetable:
We open during all year!
On normal weekdays we open from 14:00h till 20:00h.
On weekends and national freedays, from 10:00h till 20:00h
On Mondays and on rainy days we use to rest.
Shuttle:
You have regular shuttle to the top that starts every 5 min. Prices of
shuttle are:
1h - 10€
2h - 15€
Half day - 20€ (Less den <4h)
Day - 23€
Where to rent a bike?
We also rent bikes in BikeParkTenerife. We are an official Commencal
test centre. So you can hire all dh and freeride bikes.

Freeride or Downhill Bike Commencal Suprem 60€ per day
We have protection gear for rent but we recommend to bring your own. Its
always nice to wear a helmet that is clean and used just by yourself.

The best time for riding?
Here in Tenerife we enjoy a spring like climate all year round. On
December January and February we use to have few days of rainy conditions.
Airplane tickets?
Please check with your flight company that they will not take extra
money for your bike. Some companies take just 20kg of weight per
person and over this you have to pay extra.
Where to stay?
We recommend to rent a car.
The nearest airport is the north airport Los Rodeos. 5 min far from our bikepark.
Drive from any part of the island to this international airport and after follow the map.

Puerto de La Cruz.
Touristic place where most of the German stay on holidays. Starting
from Puerto de la Cruz there is every morning a bus that drive you up
to the highest mountain of Spain, Teide 3787m. There you can find the
longest dh of the Island. Many local riders enjoy every day this
downhill and I'm sure they will show it to you. To come to the
bikepark from Puerto de la Cruz you will need to rent a car. Nightlife is
also good in Puerto de la Cruz.
La Punta de Hidalgo,
Near to the bikepark, 10 min., on the coast line. Very nice natural
pools and the best skatepark of the island. To come to the bikepark on
weekends you will need to rent a car or ask for reservation in our
shuttle bus.
Bike-Hotels
BikeParkTenerife have special agreement with 3 star til 5 star hotels.
