EXPERIENCE: EXTREME FREERIDE
The Demo 8 is a trimmed-down version of the Demo 9. With a lighter chassis, slightly less rear wheel travel and lower BB, this bike is more maneuverable, yet still retains most of the extreme freeride capabilities of it's bigger sibling.
Racers and lighter riders who crave a more nible, tighter, and quicker handling machine will appreciate this bike that is equally at home on the DH circuit as the local chutes, ladders, and drops.
Chassis weight was minimized by using a longer downtube and less liberal forging at the BB area. A shorter shock was utilized, with a ti spring for extra weight savings. 135mm spacing on the rear end with a 6mm offset allows for standard dropouts, standard wheelsets & hubs.
FRAME: All-New DEMO 8 FSR frame. Super low center of gravity and standover with sub-seatstay actuated shock. Full cartridge bearing pivots, 8.1" of travel with full chainguide and front derailleur compatibility. 135mm wide asymmetrical 6mm offset rear triangle, ISCG mount, rear derailleur protector. 26 and 24" wheel compatible with two geometry settings.
