About two weeks ago my girlfriend was walking the dog close to the yachtclub by Colorline.
While the dog came out of the bushes a biker came over the road and hit the dog. He fell so hard that he broke his arm.
My girlfriend waited with him for the ambulance. She took the bike with her home and gave him her phone number.

I would think that after something like that happens you give a call after you come out of the hospital. Funny enough however, we havent heard anything from him since. I am curious how he is doing and am wondered that he doesnt seem to have the same interest for his bike or my dog.

Does anybody here know somebody that recently broke his arm on this location? I would like to get in contact with the guy.

And if nobody knows him, when is it fair to start using the bike? ICON_WINK

I won't drink and dial anymore.

Well, the using the bike is more a joke. I have my own. (but a hardtail is always nice on the side ICON_LAUGH )

I am more hoping to find somebody here on Terrengsykkel that knows the guy. Its a reasonable nice bike that I guess is about Nok 15.000 or more. Since it is a mountainbike I am searching here on this forum.

My experience is that you can be pretty confused for a while after an injury. He couldn't have lost the phone number or something like that?

try search it up on:

http://www.falckredning.no/home/sykkel_soek

and take it through them..

If not, I would post in the local newspaper. He could in the process have lost the number to your girlfriend, thus not knowing where to look for his bike.

My girlfriend punshed the number herself into his phone and he safed it. I have been walking the dog again there many times in the hope that he would or come by or leave a flyer or so. The ambulance service cant find who he was.
And its a nice bike, if it was mine I would like to have it back for sure.
Its a Merida, a Birkebeiner edition, hardtail with Juice 5 disk and so.
I am making a few a4's to hang up were the accident happend, see if that has any result.
I will also go by the police since the fact that I havent heard anything rises my thought that this might be a stolen bike.

Could it be that the dog came over the road, not the biker?

Not from the dogs point of view, and I am on her side. ICON_WINK

It might be that it isnt his bike, thats why I am checking with this link placed earlier in this post.

Its not registrated on the Falcke site.

Nobody here that has a friend or coworker driving around on a red Merida that broke his arm about 2 weeks ago?

Anybody got a Merida stolen lately?

That just struck my mind, too.

Well, its not registered as stolen at Falcke.
Its a red Merida, Birkebeiner edition. I dont want to tell to many details either to avoid that I have 8 people on my front door that have there bike "stolen".
A red Merida is a red Merida, the owner should know some details about this bike that convince me that its his.
