Description
- Constructed from the massively successful Ultra 6 Aluminium, this second-generation frame also features a heavily tested rear disc mount!
- The mount is located between the chain and seat stays for maximum support, and is also forged for maximum strength. CNC machining is 'fashionable' at the moment, but forging offers benefits in that it creates a more aligned grain structure.
- Rear disc mount is located at 'Plus 20', so you can run a 180mm rotor with any of your favourite brakes, such as the Hope Mono Trial!
- Also features dedicated 4-bolt Magura mounts.
- New concept head tube gusset: pressed tube creates more weld contact area, as well as halving the stress at the weld, and saving weight!
- Due to the forged chainstay yoke, dropouts and head tube gusset, the frame can accommodate a 1.7mm thick downtube, while still keeping the weight under 4lbs.
- The frame is available in Gloss Black or Brushed Silver, in two wheelbase versions.
- Weights: Short 1.803kg (3.98lbs), Long 1.811kg (4.00lbs).
