Hello, you'll have to apologise for the english. Here's a little insight from the inside

Thanks for the kind words from several of you previous guests!
It has been an especially busy summer with all of the 'norgesferie' going on and both ourselves and Trailhead had so many more guests than we expected. However on the busiest year so far both of us were also required to reduce capacity to 4 people per van so that limited things a lot and is why both of us have been fully booked so often.
The current regulations allow us to have a full van (TH - max 8, AETR - max 6) IF you book together. We aren't able to mix different groups sitting next to each other in the van. However we can mix groups if a group of 3 and a group of 2 book separately for example as they can sit in separate rows in the vans, so it always worth asking. There's also often drop outs on the shuttle service with Trailhead so it is often worth asking with short notice in case they have a spot, even on the same day. If you are in Nesbyen and see one of the shuttle vans, don't be afraid to approach the driver and ask if there's any seats as there often is and we're both happy to fill them!
Some general info:
//Trailhead -
https://www.trailheadnesbyen.no/- They have 2 vans with 8 seats that are dedicated to shuttling, they are available to run any day of the week provided there's at least 4 people booked.
- They also offer guided days.
//Any Excuse to Ride -
https://www.anyexcusetoride.com/- We primarily offer guiding and we have up to 6 spaces available. We will offer shuttling but only if Trailhead are fully booked and we don't have a guiding group booked in, Trailhead operate shuttling well so we leave that to them.
- We offer guided days in Nesbyen, on the mountain plateaus in the area or also further afield in the Hallingdal valley.
- We have a self catered accommodation set up for mountain bikers right in the centre of Nesbyen with bike storage, workshop and wash.
//All Adventure -
https://en.alladventure.no/- New company based in Ål
- They offer guided trips around Ål where there's a load of great trails also. If everything is booked in Nesbyen it is also worth contacting them for a trip further up the valley.
Otherwise, if there's no shuttling/guiding available, there's a selection of trails in Nesbyen that are very easy to find and pedal up to yourself so you can easily do a self guided day here. There's a good access road to pedal up from the town to Trytetjern on the east side of the valley where several trails start and finish in the same area.
It can be a little tricky to find all the information you need to come here, accommodation, trail access, services etc. however it is something the kommune, tourist office and the rest of us are working on to improve. One of the main ideas being that the trails will become more of a loop rather than focused on downhill, beginning and ending in the town with the town centre being the trailhead. So hopefully in the future it will be easier to self guide some trips.

I can't speak specifically for Trailhead but there could well be capacity for dedicated shuttling service, as long as those people are motivated to help develop the trail network then I don't think there would be any bad feelings. As you say though, you don't exactly make so much money on it, but then does anyone in the bike industry?

On a serious note, there is a want and a need for a bike 'hub' in the town, where visitors and locals can meet and hang out. If anyone has some wild motivation to change career path and open an MTB cafe/bakery in Nesbyen then we are looking for you! There would be plenty of help from locals, the kommune, Naeringshagen, the tourist office and more with setting up, everyone knows it is needed so if someone were to come, the support would surely be there.
If you want any more info feel free to get in touch, happy to help answer questions even if you're not booking with us.
