Renovering av sykler - MOTOBECANE Jubilee Sport 83

Hi all,

after a few restoration of MTB, Downhill, BMX now is tame for real history. On the table is 32 years old Vintage Racer. French MOTOBECANE Jubilee Sport '83.



This is very well equipped bike with full Shimano 105 groupset. Campagnolo wheels and Mundialita seaddle.



Bike was in original state. Chain, components barely used, but... the paint scheme, purple or rather pink, rust and this saddle was not in the best shape...

So I made radical decision:

So now piece by piece, spoke by spoke, cleaning, polishing, painting...

No, no, no rush, this have to be done perfect

While some metal parts are in chromium process now, I'm polishing aluminium ones...

I don't know how they did it those days, but it looks like the chain after 32 years still can be used as the measurements show then it is just slightly used.

I need to ask the owner if this was changed in a meantime

I'm also very happy with the result of seaddle restoration. I bought cutting printer just to do this Mundialita logo in the best way I can ...

So I decide to change the color, as this pink was not as good as it looks on the first picture.

The frame came back from paint shop in pearl cream color.

Now is time for some detailing.
