This is tip I invent today. During restoration process I'm cleaning lot of small parts as every bike I'm disassembling to the last ball bearing. So today was last cleaning and polishing day of my 32 years old Motobecane. At the end of the day I've found out that a bag of dirty nipples still need to be cleaned. So i decide to get them together by fishing line, then I've put them too pair of socks. Socks need to be tied to avoid situation that nipples will go out.
Now.
Put them to washing machine for 60 deg (cotton program).
The result is better than I expect.

Belive me or not but there is even no any sign of rust.
Shiny and like new, after 32 years.
